Sausage Biscuit Sandwiches

Sausage biscuit breakfast sandwich made with Mountain View's Maple Bacon breakfast sausage

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16oz) can of homestyle biscuits
  • 4 links Mountain View Meats Maple Bacon Sausage
  • Butter
  • 8 Eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 slices of cheese

 

Instructions:

  1. Bake biscuits according to package instructions
  2. Slice the biscuits open and set aside
  3. Cut the maple bacon sausages on the bias, creating an elongated shape to fit biscuits
  4. Heat a nonstick pan, over med heat, add some butter and cook the sausages until heated through
  5. Place a couple slices of sausage on the bottom halves of each biscuit
  6. Wipe out pan and add some butter
  7. Whisk the eggs with salt and pour into the hot pan
  8. Drag the cooked edges toward the center and tilt the pan to fill the gaps with raw egg
  9. Cut and fold the egg to fit 8 biscuits
  10. Layer an egg on each sausage biscuit and top with a slice of cheese
  11. Place the top half of the biscuit
  12. Enjoy!
