Ingredients:
- 2 slices bacon, chopped into 1/2” pieces
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, chopped
- 1 package Mountain View Meats Hot Links, sliced
- 3 (16oz) cans pork and beans
- 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Fry the bacon in large, deep sauté pan
- Remove bacon from the pan and set aside
- Add onion, bell pepper and jalapeño to the bacon drippings and cook until soft
- Add sliced hot links and cook until browned
- Stir in the pork and beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard and cooked bacon, bring to a simmer
- Pour the bean mixture into a 13”x9”baking dish and bake about 1 hour, until bubbly and the sauce has thickened
- Let stand to thicken slightly
- Serve and enjoy!
