Holiday Sausage Bites

Holiday sausage bites

An easy, delicious appetizer that is sure to delight your guests.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 package Mild Smoked Sausage
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T. water
  • Seasoning of Choice (Everything but the Bagel, garlic seasoning, black pepper)
  • Optional for Serving: Honey mustard, Spicy Mayo or Aioli

 

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into rectangles (large enough to wrap around whole sausage).

Wrap each sausage with puff pastry and slice diagonally. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Whisk egg with water to make an egg wash. Brush generously over each piece.

Sprinkle with seasoning or Everything Bagel Seasoning.

Bake 15-18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
