Hasselback Green Chile Sausage Bites

Hasselback sausage bites, anyone?

Serve them with a honey mustard dipping sauce and let us just say…they will disappear fast!

Perfect for Oktoberfest or game day snacking.

  • Slice sausages accordion style (careful not to cut all the way through).
  • Brush with a seasoned olive oil – we used garlic powder and paprika.
  • Air-fry at 375 F for about 10 minutes or until nice and crispy.

For the dipping sauce, this quick and easy recipe makes a creamy, tangy, and sweet honey mustard dipping sauce in just five minutes.

 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or white vinegar
  • A dash of cayenne pepper (optional)
  • A dash of paprika (optional)

 

Instructions

  1. Measure: Place the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, and lemon juice into a small bowl.
  2. Season (optional): Add a dash of cayenne pepper and paprika for a little extra kick and color.
  3. Whisk: Whisk all the ingredients together until the sauce is completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Chill: For the best flavor, cover and chill the sauce in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving
