Hasselback sausage bites, anyone?
Serve them with a honey mustard dipping sauce and let us just say…they will disappear fast!
Perfect for Oktoberfest or game day snacking.
- Slice sausages accordion style (careful not to cut all the way through).
- Brush with a seasoned olive oil – we used garlic powder and paprika.
- Air-fry at 375 F for about 10 minutes or until nice and crispy.
For the dipping sauce, this quick and easy recipe makes a creamy, tangy, and sweet honey mustard dipping sauce in just five minutes.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or white vinegar
- A dash of cayenne pepper (optional)
- A dash of paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Measure: Place the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, and lemon juice into a small bowl.
- Season (optional): Add a dash of cayenne pepper and paprika for a little extra kick and color.
- Whisk: Whisk all the ingredients together until the sauce is completely smooth and creamy.
- Chill: For the best flavor, cover and chill the sauce in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving
